Dr. William A. Cohen

Dr. William A. Cohen, is the President of CIAM and a retired Air Force general. He graduated from West Point and has an MBA from the University of Chicago and an MA in Management and a PhD in Executive Management from the Peter Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. In 2009, he received an award as a distinguished alumnus from that institution. He is a distinguished graduate in residence of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces in Washington DC. His more than 50 books on business and management have been published in 23 languages. A number of his books have been published in Chinese, such as The Art of the Leader, A Class with Drucker, Drucker on Leadership and Drucker on Marketing, etc. He has taught Drucker concepts of leadership in both China and Hong Kong and more than 1000 students how to do management consulting, business strategy, and job finding. For his latest book - Peter Drucker’s Consulting Principles and How to Apply Them for Business Success.
Doug Schafer

Mr. Doug Schafer, the Vice President of DataFrameworks that develops the ClarityNow! Storage analysis system for large file-based workflows such as those found in rich media. Doug has an extensive knowledge and skills in software architecture, technology, process and management. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from California Institute of Technology.
Hong Kang (Ulan)

Ulan is a famous Radio host in KAZN AM1300 Radio Station. Her music show is called “A Worldful of Beautiful Songs”, dedicated to promote Chinese national folk music internationalization. Her talk show “Your Excellent Story” interviewing the elites and their stories.Ulan is an author, her new book "Crowned By Love" published on Oct. 2015, focus on the education comparison between America and China, based on her two daughter's true grown up stories. Her book “Dust Tango” records overseas elders life stories. Ulan is also the columnist of “Street Show” magazine of Shandong, China, her column is focus on the cultural and educational comparison between America and China, in which Chinese readers can insight United States by different angles.Ulan is a well-known Emcee, she presided over the welcome dinner of President Xi Jinping’s visit to Los Angeles Chinese community on Feb. 16, 2012. Ulan was awarded the certificate of honor issued by Southern California Chines.
Dr. Hui Yuan

Dr. Hui Yuan is a Power System Engineer III at Southern California Edison (SCE) leading advanced applications in power system distribution management system. Dr.Yuan serves as the vice chair of IEEE Computer Society in IEEE Metropolitan Los Angeles Section.
Penny Li
LEAP Mentor
Ms. Penny Li is Director of Admissions at the California Institute of Advanced Management. She was one of CIAM’s first MBA graduates and completed 11 consulting engagements as a student using Drucker’s methods. She developed a major project for a United Nations’ competition that recommended applications of Drucker’s consulting procedures. A video that she directed on student consulting, based on Drucker’s consulting principles, was selected as a finalist in the sixth annual Drucker Forum held in Vienna, Austria. Penny has 8 years of professional media experience as a TV executive in China. During the production of a televised charity event, she organized a media aid project fundraiser that raised $150,000 for 6,000 children with cerebral palsy. She also worked as a business assistant at CSUN and won award for the most inspirational student assistant employee of the year (2011). She was one of the nominees for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s "2015 Women Making a Difference" Awards in the categories of Executive of the Year and Rising Star of the Year. She is a life member with Chinese Scholars Association (USACSA) and has been the Bilingual MC for many events.
Dr. Jun Wang

Dr. Jun Wang is the project lead of system design for Broadcom's first connectivity solution targeted at Internet of Things and Home Automation. He received his doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in June 2014. His research focus was cognitive radio networks and related technologies in wireless communications and sensor networks.
