LEAP (Leadership, Excellence, Aspiration, Platform) Career Development Forum is a Los Angeles-based 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to building a trustworthy and sustained platform for professional growth and career advancement of young Asian Americans and those from Asian countries currently studying or working in America in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and other fields.
As one of the most dependable and promising career development organizations in SoCal for young students and professionals of Asian descent, LEAP Career Development Forum is expanding its volunteer teams of Marketing, Business Development, Event Management, and IT

1. Campus Ambassador

Job Summary:
A LEAP Campus Ambassador is an outgoing, engaged and well-connected student on campus who serves as a liaison between LEAP and campus. The job may consist of hosting LEAP events, running local marketing efforts, and much more. It gives any student great marketing experience, a great resume--filler, and, most importantly, an unforgettable experience during college.
Requirements:

Coordinate as a point of contact between LEAP various campus organizations

Collect and analyze feedback and demands from the campus community
-
Promote LEAP and activities to the local campus community
-
Assist in organizing various LEAP events on campus
-
Commit at least 2 hours per week towards working with us

Are not allergic to fun
Qualifications:

You are a registered full-time undergraduate or graduate student

You have a minimum of cumulative GPA of 3.0

You are a part of at least one on-campus organization

You work well with peers as part of a team
2. Event Associate, Business Development

Job Summary:

Coordinate with Event Leader to organize and deliver events on a regular basis

Assist communications, logistics, and pre/post-event follow-ups in all phases of the event

Facilitate with fund raising campaigns

3. Front-End Web Developer

Job Summary:
The Front End Web Developer will be responsible for creating smartly designed web features, pages and applications that utilize cutting edge technology and practices as well as maintaining our web content management system. The right candidate for this position has a passion for user experience, loves new technology and isconstantly striving to create a better experience for the organization’s customers and visitors. You will work closely with IT team and marketing team.
Qualifications:
You must be a current student in an academic program and be willing to work at least 4 flexible hours each week, including late nights and weekends. You must have technical skills as:

Experience of web development

Knowledge or experience of content management system

Experience of web design, Joomla developing or user experience design is a plus

4. Social Media Marketing Associate

5. Communications Marketing Associate

Job Summary:
Designed for current students, this part-time internship provides valuable experience in Communications and Marketing. As part of theteam, you'll assist in:

Writing articles for our WeChat, Email and other platforms

Supporting sponsor planning and activations

Managing the list of communication channels

Communicating with internal and external stakeholders
-
Creating multi-media content (videos, photos, infographics,etc.)

Reaching out to media outlets and industry publications

Designing web pages and microsites

Creation Proposals and grant applications
