Dr. Byron Shen

Dr. Byron Shen holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of California Berkeley and an MBA from University of Minnesota. He is now the principal of Transpacific Health Tech Business & Investment Consulting, a company that he founded in January 2015 to deliver “insights, connections, and results” to investors and businesses in healthcare/IT sector. Prior to that, he started his career in product development and professional services in 3M, working with reginal teams in Northeastern Asian region. He was then the managing director of Data Sciences International (DSI), Inc. in Shanghai, China for seven years and the reginal manager in DSI, Asia Pacific for eight years. With his extensive work experience and knowledge in business, management, technology, and medicine, Dr. Shen is dedicated to building successful businesses globally in the medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
