1. Forklift Service Technician/Trainer (LEAP-BYD-01)

Summary
This person is responsible for training service technicians and performing periodic maintenance, repair, replacement and troubleshooting assignments on 80V battery electric material handling equipment. Must be proficient in completing all required paperwork needed to perform all job requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Must be able to perform all Service and Training functions on 80V battery electric forklifts.
2. Able to troubleshoot and diagnose all major systems. Overhaul, repair, or replace systems or components, including circuit boards and other electrical parts, hydraulic and mechanical systems
3. Proper use of all special and diagnostic tools
4. Repair faults in all major components or systems, including electrical, hydraulics and mechanical.
5. Provide advanced diagnostics and repairs for all major systems of material handling equipment
6. Required to maintain knowledge of applicable service grams and other repair techniques for 80V battery electric equipment
7. Provides assistance to less experienced technicians as required
8. Follow vendor procedures for warranty and return policies to include contact management
9. Follows all safety procedures in performing work as well as company policies
10. Properly identify and order all necessary replacement parts
11. Operate service department a clean, safe and secure manner following all required safety rules for the job
12. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
13. Driving is an essential function of this position and a valid current driver’s license must be maintained at all times.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Ideally this position will lead to a supervisory role.

Education and/or Experience
· High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school/engineering college graduate preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level. Employee should have a minimum of six to eight years of directly related experience in material handling equipment repair.
Computer Skills
Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), Understanding of how to interface and update CAN files
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages and ability to perform
these operations using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to understand
weight measurement, volume and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb/step up and down from a height of up to 30 inches, or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in spaces as low as 18 inches. 2. Controller/Accounting Manager (LEAP-BYD-02)

Requirements: The person in this position must be highly organized with strong attention to detail, possesses solid understanding of GAAP and IFRS, has the ability to meet tight deadlines, and work well with others. This person will be responsible and accountable for all activities and performance in the accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain internal controls.
- Maintain accurate cash balances. Monitor daily cash positions and keep Management up to date on the cash flow status.
- Supervise billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate GL account balances.
- Oversee monthly closing, ensure data presented are accurate, up to date and complete.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly consolidated financial statements.
- Oversee payroll processing. Be able to work with ADP or any other outside payroll processing systems.
- Perform duties such as labor reports, employee benefits, worker’s comp audits.
- Maintain all company licenses, permits, insurance policies.
- File annual reports such as 571L form, Sales and Use Tax reports, local business taxes.
- Prepare, distribute and file 1099s as well as any industry specific forms.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
- A minimum 5 years of working experience.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing accounting is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
3. Electrical Engineer (LEAP-BYD-03)
Department: Engineering
Location: Downtown LA

Responsibilities:

Design the electric system for the prototype electric bus and customized electric bus, including the high voltage system and low voltage system, electric controller system, high voltage battery system and BMS .

Communicate with the Vendor to get the proper parts for the electric bus.

Design the electric schematic for the electric parts.

Send the design to the factory to produce

Communicate with R&D team and choose the electric parts from China

4. Project Manager (Energy Storage)(LEAP-BYD-04)

Description:
This opening position is a project manager for BYD America’s Energy Storage team. BYD is currently the largest Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) supplier in the world, and is the largest BESS in the U.S. as well. This position is to help smoothing the communication between manufacturer and end user, primarily during the design and production phase.
Responsibilities:
1) Be the communication window between BYD and customer(s) on specific project(s)
2) Communicate and work with customer(s) on the details of Energy Storage project(s).
3) Keep tracking daily/weekly tasks, communicating with different teams internally to meet the project milestones.
4) Filter and consolidate customers’ requests; Check and summarize customers’ internal feedbacks.
5) Support and accommodate customers’ requests on the project(s).

Summary: This position is primarily responsible for researching, planning, and designing the e-truck, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of the e-truck.
Descriptions:
1. Design the chassis system for the electric trucks and customized electric trucks using 3D software, including the steering system, braking system, suspension system, cooling system, powertrain system and so on.
2. Communicate with the vendor to get the proper parts for the electric truck.
3. Take designs from conception to production.
4. Debug the e-trucks.
5. Redact all the design documents
6. Communicate with R&D team in China.
Qualifications:
1. Ability to use 3D software.
2. Ability to use UG is a plus.
3. Familiar with the principles of mechanical design; good mechanical drawing skills.
4. Familiar with electronic components and electrical principles.
